The company has recently invested in a new fleet of vehicles and with further investment in the facilities at Bristol planned BWF is looking to expand its product range and to strengthen its position in the market.
Bath Wholesale was originally acquired by Roy 'The Father' Chalker in 1979. Until then Roy had been working with his father and brother in a similar business in Rochdale near Manchester. Being a visionary and a man of great ambition Roy’s desire was always to move south and so he, along with his wife and three children, made the move and Bath Wholesale Fruiterers became part of the Chalker Group .The brothers, Carl and Guy, both joined the business on leaving school and the rest, as they say, is history...
